Half way between Trapani and Erice, 400 meters above the sea lies the Casa della Roccia.
It is a remote cottage, far away from traffic noises and with a great view down to the tyrrhenian sea and the bold Monte Cofano.
The house has three double rooms, so six persons can stay here comfortably.
The proprietary in an architect, who also spends her holidays up here.
Sometimes, looking down the steep Monte Giuliano you feel like flying above the clouds...
The Casa della Roccia has two floors. Upstairs, there are the two big seaview terraces next to the big living room and the kitchen/dining room.
On the lower level you find the three bedrooms.
It is a quiet retreat with only small farmhouses in sight - an ideal spot to relax (almost no cellphone network in reach) and also a place made for a big family or two couples with their kids.
The house is built into the mountain rock; therefore its named 'della roccia'.
Upper level
the house has been renovated in 2007, so all is new an modern.
In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, a stove/oven and a big fridge.
You'll find all the tools to do your own cooking. There also is a washing machine.
Sitzgelegenheiten sind viele: Im Wohnbereich stehen Sofa, Sessel und Stühle, auf den Terassen gibt es einen großen Esstisch mit Bänken aus Holz (Bild fehlt noch), sowie weitere Gartenmöbel und Liegestühle.
Lower level
Hier sind ein weiteres Bad und das 'Felsenzimmer'; ein großer Raum mit Wanschrank, Sofa, Sesseln und einem Stück Felsen, das aus der Wand schaut.
Von diesem Raum gehen die drei Schlafzimmer ab. Ein kleines (Bild links) und zwei größere mit eigenem Ausgang zum Garten. Die Schlafzimmer haben statt Türen dicke Vorhänge zum Felsenzimmer.
Fernseher, Radio und eine kleine Bibliothek sind vorhanden.
The estate is located between Trapani to Erice on Monte Giuliano. It is about 1/2 hour drive from Trapani.

You can rent te house by week (seven nights). The price is €1260,-.
If you want to stay longer, an extra day costs €180.-
Linen, towels and cleaning are complimentary. There are no further costs.
